The Devil's Masked Men Win ROH Tag Team Titles, Samoa Joe Turns On MJF On 12/27 AEW Dynamite

The Devil's Masked Men have won the gold.

On the December 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Samoa Joe were set to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against two of The Devil's Masked Men. When it was time for the bout, MJF made his entrance, but Samoa Joe did not. Joe was then shown on the ground backstage, and he had apparently been attacked. MJF opted to proceed with the match, so he took on the challengers by himself. He delivered a valiant effort, but he was blindsided by a third Masked Men behind the referee's back.

The two legal Masked Men went on to win the match and the titles, as one of them hit the Heat-Seeker for the victory. A group of Masked Men attacked MJF, but Samoa Joe limped out to make the save.

The Devil appeared on the screen and, with a written message, said that it was a pleasure doing business with "you", which turned out to be Joe. Joe blindsided MJF with the chair. He ended the show by standing tall with the AEW World Championship.

Samoa Joe is set to challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Worlds End on December 30.

MJF and Adam Cole won the ROH World Tag Team Championship at AEW All In 2023. Cole suffered an ankle injury at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. MJF then defended the titles by himself against The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) at AEW WrestleDream. He later teamed up with Samoa Joe to defend the championship against The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) at AEW Full Gear.
