DIY is in line for a shot at the WWE World Tag Team Championships.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa fended off the New Day and the Creed Brothers, winning a number one contender's match on the April 15 episode of WWE Raw. Ciampa scored the win for his team after pinning Xavier Woods just moments after he was hit with the team's signature running knee/superkick combination.

The duo of Gargano and Ciampa unsuccessfully challenged for the titles in a match against the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) back in January 2024. Furthermore, DIY also competed in the six team ladder match at WrestleMania XL, which was contested for both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
The Raw Tag Team Championships were retired on the April 15 episode of Raw, as Triple H introduced the WWE World Tag Team Championships and awarded them to Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth). Learn more about that segment here.
