Dolph Ziggler Reflects On The Opportunities He's Been Given In WWE

Dolph Ziggler learned to appreciate the opportunities he's been given so far.

In the past, Dolph has made comments about not being happy with the amount of attention he received from WWE over the years. On Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Ziggler said his mentality has changed after retrospectively looking at his career.

“I used to be kind of like 'I don’t get these chances that other people get.' After 12 years and six championships, Intercontinental, and plus a bunch of other stuff you go 'I get the opportunity. I get them.' We don’t always follow up on them, but that’s part of the business and sometimes no you’re not meant to be a long term person but every time you get something go 'wow, I was just focusing on being a tag team wrestler which I haven’t done in 10 years and became champion. How can I make this the most memorable thing I’ve done in the last 10 years?,'" said Ziggler.

Three weeks ago, Dolph Ziggler beat Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and will be defending against Rollins in an Iron Man match at Extreme Rules. Ziggler said he hopes to continue elevating the title like Rollins did during his reign.

"Because Seth’s done an awesome job. We’re not really tight, we’re not really close, but I know that he’s awesome at his job also and it’s great to see what he’s done with that title,” said Ziggler. "Hopefully I can continue in a bad guy different way," he added.

In the rest of the interview, Ziggler talked about his early days of wrestling, working with Drew McIntyre as a team, and his comedy career.
