Dominik Mysterio Calls Mustafa Ali's WWE Release An 'Unfortunate Situation'

Dominik Mysterio comments on the release of Mustafa Ali ahead of their scheduled NXT North American Title match at NXT No Mercy.

Dominik Mysterio was scheduled to defend the NXT North American Title against Mustafa Ali at NXT No Mercy on September 30 in Bakersfield, California. However, Ali was released on September 21, 2023, and now, the North American Championship match at the upcoming Premium Live Event is up in the air.

Dominik offered some comments on Ali's release on the In The Kliq podcast with Baby Huey.

"Yeah, you know, it's a very unfortunate situation that very talented people have to go through situations like this. At the end of the day, it's out of our control. We just do whatever we can to put our best foot forward. But as far as No Mercy goes, I'm just gonna have to wait and see who my opponent will be."
