Over the course of the past month, Dominik and Cena had been feuding for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, with the pair trading the title briefly before Mysterio re-captured the title at WWE Survivor Series in San Diego last month. Now, Mysterio has commented on Cena’s retirement.
While speaking during a commercial break during this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW, Dominik Mysterio was asked by Byron Saxton about Cena’s retirement.
“Byron, I feel absolutely fantastic about it. The fact that I’m the last person to ever beat the greatest of all time for a championship. I think that makes me the greatest Mysterio of all time, the greatest AAA Mega Campeon of all time, and the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.”
