On SummerSlam night two on August 3rd, Dominik Mysterio would put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against AJ Styles. This marks Dominik’s second stadium show match for the title this year and for Dominik, he says he thrives under the pressure that the matches put on him.
While speaking on the SummerSlam night two edition recap show, Dominik was asked if he is a high pressure player.
“1,000%. I thrive under pressure. Everyone… I hate to put some people on blast, but you saw it on Unreal. People get scared. People start panicking. They don’t know what to do. Then there’s people like me who were born for this. I’m probably the only actual homegrown talent. I’ve been the youngest superstar signed, debuted 20 years ago, debuted again five years ago, and here I am, SummerSlam 2025, your greatest intercontinental champion of all time. I don’t mean to keep repeating myself, but it’s just the facts. Just the facts.
