Dominik Mysterio States That It’s A ‘Huge Blessing’ To Work With John Cena During Final Stretch Of His Retirement Run

Mysterio is honored to be working with Cena.

Dominik Mysterio and John Cena have shared the ring twice in the last two weeks on Monday Night Raw. Next up for them is Survivor Series: WarGames, where Mysterio will get his rematch against Cena for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Coming off the heels of the six-man tag team match on the 11/17 Raw that saw Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Bálor & J.D. McDonagh) take on Cena, Rey Mysterio and Sheamus, Dominik guest appeared on ESPN First Take. He stated that it’s been a blessing to work with Cena.

“It’s a huge blessing for me to be able to get three out of his last four matches in the WWE. I had mentioned it earlier — was able to wrestle him at the TD Garden. Got to wrestle him in Madison Square Garden, and we’ll finish it off at Petco Park. For me, it’s a huge honor. He’s one of the best to ever do it, if not the best to ever do it in this business. Everything we do, we base it off of John Cena. He’s the golden boy for the WWE so, for me, I’m excited to put the final nail in his coffin.”

After Survivor Series, Cena will have one date remaining in his pro wrestling career, and that will be his final match on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
