Dominik Mysterio Wins Triple Threat Match To Retain WWE Intercontinental Title At Saturday Night’s Main Event

‘Dirty’ Dominik keeps his gold.
WWE’s Intercontinental Championship was up for grabs at Saturday Night’s Main Event. There was a Triple Threat match that saw Rusev versus Penta versus the champion Dominik Mysterio.
There was a point in the match when Rusev had Penta trapped in ‘The Accolade’ submission, but the bell rang and Rusev released the hold because he thought he won.
It was Mysterio who rang the bell to prevent Penta from tapping out.
The bell ringer was brought into the ring, and Penta stopped Dominik from getting control of it. Penta swung, Mysterio ducked, and he accidentally hit Rusev. Mysterio proceeded to send Penta into the LED ring post.
Mysterio went up to the top rope for a Frog Splash and then pinned Rusev to retain the Intercontinental Title. Mysterio is also in possession of the AAA Mega Championship.
