Don Callis Family Wins Men’s Blood & Guts After Adam Copeland Surrenders; Darby Allin Tossed From Top Of The Cage

Adam Copeland surrenders at the demand of Kyle Fletcher.

After the bloody encounter that was the Women’s Blood & Guts Match, this week’s AEW Dynamite was headlined by the Men’s Blood & Guts Match that pitted Will Ospreay, The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland, Darby Allin, and Steven Borden against Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle.

The match was kicked off by Darby Allin and Kyle Fletcher. Allin’s signature skateboard was used quite a bit, with Fletcher slamming him directly on it before Kevin Knight made his entrance. Despite not having a tag team name, the duo of Knight and Fletcher dominated until Nick Jackson made his way to the ring. Before a brief commercial break, Jake Doyle entered the match.

Trash can in hand, Matt Jackson was in next. He had a brief battle with Doyle, who ended up powerbombing him on the aforementioned trash can. Mark Davis entered the chaos next, teaming up with Doyle to toss Darby Allin into a cage wall. At this point in the match, the Don Callis Family was standing tall with ease. Adam Copeland changed that when he entered the contest and starting swinging a steel chair. Doyle and Davis gained their composure and tossed Copeland into a chair as another commercial break aired.

Wardlow entered the match next. He immediately made an impact, crushing Copeland with a Swanton through a table. Then, it was Steven Borden’s turn to join the fray. He took out multiple names from the opposing side with Sting’s signature corner splashes. Moments later, Borden was powerbombed into a pile of thumbtacks. Kazuchika Okada saved the day after that, entering the bout with a leaf blower in his hand. Of course, he cleared the ring of tacks.

After another commercial break, Will Ospreay entered the contest. He gathered his team as both sides faced off in separate rings. Fletcher eventually obtained a barbed wire chair and held it on Ospreay’s face as Kevin Knight performed his signature Coast 2 Coast maneuver. With an assist from Adam Copeland, the Young Bucks kicked an exploding chair into the face of Kazuchika Okada. Then, the Bucks started throwing additional kicks to Davis and Doyle.

Complaining about the use of explosives and weapons, Don Callis got up from the commentary desk and slipped a screwdriver to Kyle Fletcher. After dropping Ospreay with a brainbuster on a barbed wire chair, Fletcher ate a Scorpion Death Drop from Darby Allin. Don Callis was able to bait Allin, getting him to slip outside of the cage.

Wardlow ripped a cage door off its hinges and tossed it at Allin. Eventually, both men ended up on top of the cage. Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero started setting up a stack of tables at ringside as Wardlow carried Allin to the edge. Allin changed the momentum by nailing Wardlow with a shot to the groin. Inside the ring, Copeland speared Okada through a table. Copeland then attempted to crush Okada with a chair shot, but he was stopped by Davis and Doyle.

Things looked dire at this point for Copeland, as he was chained to the cage by Rocky Romero and Kazuchika Okada. Fletcher grabbed a microphone and asked him to submit or surrender. Pressuring Copeland to make a decision, Fletcher grabbed Ospreay and held the screwdriver to his neck. Seeing his other teammates in peril, Copeland eventually surrendered

Fletcher taunted Ospreay about their match Full Gear. Then, Wardlow tossed Darby off the cage. The show ended with the Don Callis Family standing tall.
