Doug Stahl (Super Destroyer #2) Passes Away

Doug Stahl passes away.

Taking to Facebook, Butch Hess shared that his friend and former wrestler Doug Stahl passed away. Stahl was known as Super Destroyer #2 as part of the Super Destroyers team in ECW in the early 1990s.

Hess wrote the following:

“Tonight my oldest friend in the world Doug Stahl passed away. We been friends from 1st grade. He would also take up for me when I was younger when I get bullied and picked on for my facial scars. We were in cub and Boy Scouts together play high school football together. And we both done pro wrestling HIM WAY MORE SUCCESSFUL than me. I had the honor of tagging with Doug in his final match. RIP IN PEACE MY BROTHER THE BROTHER SUPERIORS TAGGING IN HEAVEN”

The Super Destroyers are two-time ECW Tag Team Champions. Stahl began his in-ring career in 1990 and made his way through WCW and had a match in the WWF.

He last wrestled in 2006.
