"The events of the past year has made me reassess my decision to retire as it made me understand that you should use your life to fullest doing what you enjoy. As such I am open to bookings again, email is in my bio...," he wrote.

Williams initially announced his retirement in September 2018, but continued to wrestle a handful of matches each year. He last wrestled in February 2020 and was scheduled to face Jonathan Gresham at ROH Past vs. Present in March 2020. He was also scheduled to compete in the ROH Pure Title tournament before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the initial tournament.

It is unknown when Williams will step back in the ring.
