DOUKI Removes Himself From Remainder Of NJPW Wrestling Dontaku Tour, Declares Boycott Of Best Of The Super Juniors
DOUKI is removing himself from in-ring action.
In the main event of NJPW Wrestling Hizen no Kuni, HOUSE OF TORTURE helped DOUKI defeat Tiger Mask to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
After the match, DOUKI announced that he would not be competing on the remainder of the Wrestling Dontaku tour. NJPW announced that Yujiro Takahashi will be taking his place on the remainder of the tour.

After the main event of Hizen no Kuni on April 29, DOUKI announced that he would not be competing for the remainder of the Dontaku series.
Yujiro Takahashi will replace DOUKI on remaining events on the Road to Dontaku, and on Dontaku day two May 4.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling deeply apologises to fans for DOUKI’s absence.
DOUKI also stated that he will not be competing in the 2026 NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament. No official update has been provided regarding that.
