Dragon Lee has his sights set on the gold.
On the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Santos Escobar defeated Joaquin Wilde. When he attacked Wilde after the bell, Dragon Lee made the save. Later in the show, Lee and Escobar were announced for the WWE United States Championship Tournament. They will clash in a first-round match on the December 8 episode of SmackDown.
In a WWE SmackDown Exclusive, Dragon Lee made it clear that he was happy he got his hands on Santos Escobar on Friday. Lee was then told that he will face Escobar the following week.
“That’s awesome. You make my wish come true. After this match, I’m going to show the world what Dragon Lee is capable of, and I will become the United States Champion, I promise," Lee said.
Escobar previously defeated Lee at WWE Survivor Series, and Lee will aim to even the score on Friday.
