Dragon Lee Says He Also Can't Work With NJPW

Dragon Lee comments on his NJPW status.

On Monday, Andrade El Idolo took to social media to say that he couldn't work with New Japan Pro-Wrestling due to CMLL and AAA. It was later reported by Luchablog that The Lucha Bros (Penta Osucro & Rey Fenix) would not be working AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Dragon Lee followed up Andrade's comments, saying that he also couldn't work with NJPW due to "damn politics."

Dragon Lee is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, but has not competed for NJPW since February 2020.

He is currently active for AAA Lucha Libre and other promotions in Mexico. He was a mainstay for Ring of Honor before the company went on hiatus and was eventually purchased by Tony Khan.
