Dragon Lee Scores First NXT Win, Wes Lee Retains | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on April 4, 2023.

- Dragon Lee wrestled for the first time on NXT TV in a match against Nathan Frazer. Before the bout, Noam Dar arrived and stated that he was finally in NXT after months of negotiations. He stated that he would decide whether anyone deserved a shot at his NXT UK Heritage Cup. In a fast-paced match between Lee and Frazer, Lee emerged victorious, scoring his first NXT win in the process. Dar joined commentary for the bout, and he didn't look impressed. Lee stared him down after the bell.

- Wes Lee defended the NXT North American Championship against Axiom in a thrilling match.

- NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes came to the ring following his title win at NXT Stand & Deliver. He called out Bron Breakker. Hayes praised Breakker and noted that he didn't know what his future held. Breakker complimented Hayes, who shook his hand. They hugged, and Breakker turned on Hayes. He attacked the champion and left him lying to close the show.

- Oba Femi, Dani Palmer, and Tank Ledger are coming soon to NXT.

- Indi Hartwell came to the ring to celebrate the beginning of her reign as the NXT Women's Champion. She expressed her gratitude for the fans, who chanted, "You deserve it." Hartwell brought up the former champion, Roxanne Perez. Zoey Stark cut her off and stated that Hartwell was holding a title that has been held by future Hall of Famers. She stated that the fact that Hartwell had the title was disgusting. Stark stated that Hartwell was a beatable champion, and she challenged Hartwell to a match. Hartwell accepted, and Stark stated that she would end her reign later that night.

- Indi Hartwell defended the NXT Women's Championship against Zoey Stark. Despite a valiant effort from Stark, Hartwell scored the win. Tiffany Stratton stared her down, and Cora Jade made her return by attacking Hartwell. Jade then raised the title, making it clear that she has her sights set on the gold.

- Jacy Jayne discussed her return at NXT Stand & Deliver, where she cost Gigi Dolin the Ladder Match for the NXT Women's Championship.

-Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) stole the win when they faced The Family (Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo), as D'Angelo was pinned after his head was smashed into an exposed turnbuckle.

- Dijak and Odyssey Jones battled it out in a clash between two powerhouses. Dijak showcased his impressive athleticism and clinched the win with a moonsault.

- NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) and Joe Coffey discussed their win at NXT Stand & Deliver. They warned that they'd be even more problem as a trio. Joe made it clear that he had his sights set on the gold.

- Ivy Nile faced her former tag team partner, Tatum Paxley and scored revenge by making her tap out. Nile celebrated with Julius and Brutus Creed.

- Andre Chase talked to his students about Chase U's win and thanked Tyler Bate for helping keep the school alive. Duke Hudson made it clear that he wanted credit. Chase recalled how Hudson wasn't interested in awards. Hudson noted that he wanted to be honored, and Chase revealed that Hudson will get the MVP trophy next week.

- NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre commented on their title win and warned that they were only just beginning. Dawn cursed any team who dared to step up and challenge them

.- Fallon Henley told Briggs Jensen that Kiana James was cheating on him. James stated that they were never exclusive, and she walked out on him.

- In an interview, Ilja Dragunov shared his thoughts on his loss at NXT Stand & Deliver. Von Wagner, Robert Stone says that if Wagner doesn't beat Dragunov next week, they're done.

- SCRYPTS sent a message to Axiom and stated that they know the corners of their mind. SCRYPTS tried to attack Axiom, but the fan-favorite saw it coming and dropped him with a kick.

- Despite his loss, Nathan Frazer expressed his confidence that he'll be able to turn things around.
