Dragon Lee Thought Ladders At WrestleMania 42 Were Gimmicked: “I Want Everyone To Know That The Ladder Was Real”

Dragon Lee shared a note about the ladders that he thought were gimmicked.

At WrestleMania 42, there was a Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Competing in the bout were Penta, Je’Von Evans, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Rusev, and J.D. McDonagh.

Dragon Lee spoke about the match while chatting with Chris Van Vliet and stated that he thought the ladders were gimmicked.

“I’ve never wrestled in a Ladder match. I don’t like it. Because, honestly, I thought that the ladder would be a little bit kind of gimmicked. But I want everyone to know that the ladder was real. I was just trying to try something. ‘What can I do here that’s crazy?’ I just grabbed the ladder right away, I caught my arm, and I hit my leg, and I was like it’s so heavy, and yes, it’s strong…”

Dragon Lee is gearing up to compete in a qualifier for the AAA Latin American Championship match at Triplemanía 34.
