Drew Gulak will be next to challenge the WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Tony Khan Will Have To Eventually Consider Succession Plans For AEW But Is Having More Fun Than Ever

The following is an excerpt from the Fightful live coverage provided by Ryan Cook.

TJP dropkicks the knee of Ali once they get in the ring and Ali hits a diving cross body off of the top and onto on the floor. Ali hits an 045 before Hideo grabs him out of the ring and sends him into the ring post. Hideo then rolls Ali back into the ring before Drew sends him into the ring post and rolls Ali back into the ring before applying the Gulock for the tap and the win.

Winner: Drew Gulak defeats Mustafa Ali, Hideo Itami and TJP when he submits Ali with the Gulock to become the new number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship.

In the past, Gulak lost in the semi-finals of a Cruiserweight tournament and lost a number one contender match against Cedric Alexander. Gulak will now face Alexander for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Fightful Wrestling had live coverage and discussion for 205 Live and the show is discussed on the Fightful Weekender podcast.
