Drew Gulak's Brother Rory Gulak Says His Ultimate Goal Right Now Is To Earn A WWE Contract

Rory calling his shot!

Rory Gulak began training to become a professional wrestler at the age of 14-years old and four years later he had his debut match against his brother, WWE 205 Live star Drew Gulak. Throughout his career Rory has worked for CZW, 'Big Japan Pro Wrestling', CHIKARA and in other promotions. The 28-year old Rory Gulak has ten years of in-ring experience under his belt and during a recent interview with 'The Open Mat', Rory talked about how he and his brother Drew got their start in the sport.

“I was 14 years old and got invited after we went to a show,” Gulak said. “They said, ‘Hey, if you like bumping so much why don’t you come down and train?’ They asked Drew and I to come out, and we were like 'ok,’” he said. “I would go to amateur practice from like 3-5:30. I’d hop on the train and go down there until 10 o’clock at night, and that was multiple nights a week.

Rory was a part of the WWE Performance Center tryouts over the summer and has made appearances on WWE SmackDown Live and on 205 Live as an enhancement talent.

Rory has a big goal goal set for himself at the current moment and that is to show what he can do on a grander stage and that begins with earning a WWE contract.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to work hard and get some great opportunities,” Gulak said. “And my ultimate goal right now is to get a contract and work for WWE.”
