Drew McIntyre Comments On 'Broken Dreams' Theme Potentially Returning

Fans wax nostalgic on old themes of wrestlers who have been around for years and Drew McIntyre is no exception.

Many have called for Jeff Hardy to bring back "No More Words" or for Sheamus to use "Written In My Face." Now, fans would like Drew McIntyre to dust off "Broken Dreams," which he during his first singles run in WWE a decade ago.

"Personally, I have visions of it coming back for a special occasion and then hopefully releasing it for download because it is talked about all the time. It was such a popular song. I personally think it's great. If you look up the 'Broken Dreams' lyrics and check the story, it kind of matches my career story, which is interesting. It's just a little slow for me, right now. I love the bagpipes and war music. It doesn't quite match the current Drew McIntyre, but I do want to bring it back for special occasions," said McIntyre on the Battleground podcast.

McIntyre had a special entrance this past Monday on WWE Raw when he entered the ThunderDome wearing a kilt and wielding a giant sword that was gifted to him on-screen by Sheamus, and off-screen by Vince McMahon.

McIntyre is set to face Roman Reigns this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series.
