At WWE Clash at the Castle Kickoff, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest discussed their match. Tensions rose, and they came face-to-face. McIntyre then delivered a final message that thrilled the crowd by referencing his "Broken Dreams" theme song.

“I can see the fire in your eyes. People are gonna be talking about this match for a long time, but unfortunately for you, I dream broken dreams, I make them come true, mate, and tomorrow night, I’m gonna make them for you," McIntyre said.

At WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, McIntyre used "Broken Dreams" as part of his special entrance ahead of his match against Roman Reigns.
