Drew McIntyre: I Believe Titles Should Be Defended At Least Every Thirty Days, I'll Make That Happen

Drew McIntyre has a strong belief about championships.

At the upcoming Clash At The Castle event, Drew McIntyre is set to partake in one of the biggest matches in his career as he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Since winning both of the titles at WrestleMania 38, Reigns has only defended the belts on two occasions.

In a new interview with Independent UK, McIntyre spoke strongly about his beliefs regarding the championships and how often they should be defended.

“Roman is perhaps my greatest rival since I returned to WWE. He’s always had my number, he’s on the run of a lifetime right now. If I don’t beat him, I just don’t know who will,” McIntyre said. [But] the winds of change are blowing through WWE right now, it all starts and the top and rolls downhill. How are the titles going to be represented? I believe they should be represented on all shows, be defended at least every thirty days and I'm going to make that happen.”

McIntyre's notion about Reigns having his number is true, as the 'Tribal Chief' is 4-0 against McIntyre since he returned to the company in 2016.

Previously, McIntyre has said that he plans to f*cking kick Reigns' head off at the pay-per-view. Click here to learn more.
