Drew McIntyre Says His Wife Is The Only Person That Can Get Him To Stop Thinking About Wrestling

Drew McIntyre goes over a number of topics ahead of WWE RAW.

This upcoming Monday's episode of WWE RAW will be live from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida and is loaded up with a RAW Tag Team Titles match, the returns of Braun Strowman, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and John Cena on top of a debuting Alexa Bliss segment. On this past Monday's episode of RAW, in the opening contest "The Scottish Beast" Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage match and once the bout was over Drew got on the microphone and stated that his quest to becoming Universal Champion begins by winning the 2019 Royal Rumble match and as that journey nears closer McIntyre spoke with Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel and discussed the RAW locker room and reiterated that he saw complacency and wanted to come in and set an example.

“I looked at RAW and I saw room for improvement,” McIntyre said. “A lot of people there looked a little complacent, a little bit entitled, not giving their all, the way I used to look. But I worked very hard to take advantage of my opportunities, so I hoped I could come in and set an example.”

With all of his intensity, McIntyre finds peace in his wife Kaitlyn and stated that she along with their two cats is where his mind can take a break from wrestling.

"My wife is the only one who can help me turn off this mental brain,” McIntyre said. “I’m constantly thinking wrestling thoughts, but she’s capable of getting me to relax on the couch with Chazz and Hunter.”
