Drew McIntyre Says Working On ‘Highlander’ Really Filled Him With Confidence

Drew McIntyre is ready for fans to see ‘Highlander’.

The movie, which is slated to hit theaters in 2027 or 2028, stars huge names like Henry Cavill, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, and Russell Crowe. Furthermore, the film’s director, Chad Stahelski, is behind all four ‘John Wick’ films.

Speaking with Collider, Drew said that he learned a lot from everybody involved with the movie.

“First of all, it was amazing obviously working with Chad and with Henry. Kevin McKidd as well, he’s also from a small town in Scotland and went to America, was on Grey’s Anatomy for 20 years. I learned a lot from everybody around me and it really filled me with confidence and made me believe I can make a career in this world when it’s time.”

After talking about the movie’s filming locations, McIntyre said that everyone is going to be blown away by the final product.

“Everyone’s going to be blown away by this movie, it was such a production. Every scene was just incredible and how particular Chad is with his movies and with the action scenes, being a former high level stuntman himself. It’s going to be incredible.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Drew McIntyre talked about being under Russell Crowe’s learning tree. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
