Drew McIntyre Speaks About Him & CM Punk Being Top Champions In WWE, Says Punk Has The ‘Second-Best Title’
McIntyre speaks about Punk being champion at the same time as him.
For the majority of 2024, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk were at odds, and their feud culminated with Punk defeating McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event.
Present day, McIntyre is the Undisputed WWE Champion on Friday Night SmackDown, and Punk is the World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night Raw.
While speaking with The Sun, McIntyre commented on him and Punk being champions at the same time and stated that Punk won the second-best title in WWE.
“I don’t care what’s going on over on Raw. I don’t care what’s going on in his life. Good for him, he won the second-best title. Second-best champion. Anybody who has titles, this is the number one belt. I used to have it; it’s the one with all the lineage. So anybody else who has any other title, it doesn’t mean jack compared to this. As long as I’ve got this title, it means one thing, I’m the best in the world.”
McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match to capture the title on the January 9th Friday Night SmackDown. For more details on how that unfolded, click here.
