Drew McIntyre Takes Out Cody Rhodes Backstage On WWE SmackDown

Drew McIntyre brutally assaults Cody Rhodes backstage on WWE SmackDown.

This week’s SmackDown started with Paul Heyman and The Vision in the ring. They were promoting Survivor Series’ WarGames match between CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos vs Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and The Vision.

The Usos interrupted Heyman’s promo, who reminded them that there were four of them against just the two of them. The Usos said they weren’t alone, and Cody’s music hit, but the wrestler didn’t come out.

Moments later, we see backstage footage of Drew McIntyre walking out of a tour bus and Rhodes lying down on the floor, beaten down.

Previously, Nick Aldis had suspended Drew McIntyre for attacking Cody Rhodes on SmackDown, but he made his return on last week’s SmackDown. These two men are scheduled to face each other in the Men’s War Games match later this month.
