Dustin Rhodes Says He Never Got A Raise In WWE
Dustin Rhodes famously portrayed the character of Goldust during the late 90s before bouncing around from WCW to TNA and eventually back to WWE.
He is now with AEW, and Goldust is a distant memory for him.
When a fan online asked for him to return to WWE as Goldust, Dustin replied, “Nope! I never got a raise there. What, you want me sitting the bench doing nothing? That ain’t me anymore. I have done the best work of my career with @AEW. I love the character Goldust, but he ran its course. I did what I was told and it got me nowhere. No thanks.”

Dustin Rhodes is currently on the mend after undergoing double knee replacement surgery in August.
Rhodes was one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara, and one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with the Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich) at the time of his surgery. Both titles were vacated as a result of his absence.
Dustin Rhodes signed a new six-year deal with AEW in late 2024.
Fightful continues to wish Dustin the best as he recovers.
