Dustin Rhodes Says He’ll Get Both Shoulders Replaced When He Retires

Dustin Rhodes is currently on the mend after undergoing double knee replacement surgery in August.
Rhodes is hoping to return in March from the surgery.
In a new update, Rhodes revealed that he’ll be getting both shoulders replaced when he retires.
“The one positive I can say about my knee replacements is, the arthritis is gone. I will be doing both shoulder when I call it quits. They are also destroyed. I chose to abuse my body in more ways than 1, and wouldn’t change a damn thing,” he wrote.

Rhodes was one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara, and one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with the Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich) at the time of his surgery. Both titles were vacated as a result of his absence.
Dustin Rhodes signed a new six-year deal with AEW in late 2024.
Fightful continues to wish Dustin the best as he recovers.
