Some great news for NBC and Dwayne Johnson.
NBC and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson partnered up to present the competition series 'Titan Games'. The show premiered on January 3rd and it was a two-hour season premiere and half of the two hour show has been uploaded to the 'Titan Games' YouTube channel. The ratings for 'Titan Games' are in courtesy of 'ShowBuzzDaily' and the two-hour premiere drew in 6.5 million viewers in the 18-49 age demographic.
'Titan Games' reeled in a 1.8 for that aforementioned age demographic and the premiere episode is officially NBC's biggest Thursday night draw besides sports broadcasts dating back to early 2017. Host Dwayne Johnson commented on the numbers and expressed his excitement about the ratings that the show did for its premiere episode.
A good start and you made @nbctitangames a MUST SEE for the #1 show on Thursday night. Highly intense and entertaining action with some pretty compelling human beings and their stories.— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) January 6, 2019
