EC3 was able to force Tyrus to submit, capturing his first NWA World's Heavyweight Championship, but Tyrus was also given the chance to say goodbye to the public.

Tyrus thanked everybody in the NWA for the opportunity and thanked Dr. Tom Prichard and Pat Patterson, among others, in his post-match speech. EC3 would return to the ring and handed Tyrus his version of the NWA World Championship, which was made specifically for him, saying they wanted him to keep it.

Tyrus then received farewells from other wrestlers in the locker room as the show came to an end.

Outside of his work in the NWA, Tyrus had a run in WWE as Brodus Clay and a run in TNA Wrestling. He's also a part of Gutfeld on Fox News.
