Global Force Wrestling has seen a bit of a revolving door of authority figures and potential owners, but GFW Vice President Ed Nordholm is going out of his way to insinuate that things are stable.
Just days after TNA and Global Force Wrestling founder Jeff Jarrett was given leave and ousted from his role as Chief Creative Officer, Nordholm was active on Twitter addressing rumors that Lucha Underground could be going out of business soon. Nordholm compared the chatter to the constant rumors that Global Force Wrestling/TNA would go out of business.
Lucha Underground last filmed episodes well over a year ago, with no plans to resume this year. Many familiar names, including Johnny Mundo, Drago, El Hijo Del Fantasma (King Cuerno), Taya and more have appeared for Global Force Wrestling. Rey Mysterio and Ricochet are others who have admitted that they're finished with Lucha Underground after runs with the program.
Lucha Underground is currently airing their third season on El Rey Network.
