Eddie Edwards: I Would Have Loved If We Could Have Had The Briscoes In Honor No More

Eddie Edwards wishes The Briscoes had been in Honor No More.

Honor No More debuted at IMPACT Hard To Kill 2021, as former ROH stars Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, PCO, and Vincent, alongside Maria Kanellis, attacked Eddie Edwards and other members of the IMPACT roster. The group continued to wreak havoc over the next few weeks, and Kenny King joined the lineup as well. At IMPACT No Surrender, Edwards aligned with the stable and became its leader. The group was featured on IMPACT programming over the next several months before it broke up in the aftermath of Bound For Glory, as Taven, Bennett, Kanellis, and Vincent left the company.

Karrion Kross: There's Something Much Bigger Going On Here Than What's Happening In The Ring

Speaking with SP3 in an interview for Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Edwards was asked to name some former ROH stars he wishes he could have added to the group. He responded by naming The Briscoes, as the former IMPACT World Champion noted that the brothers were in IMPACT for part of the year, and they even won the company's tag team titles. However, they weren't aligned with Honor No More. Edwards also stated that he would have liked to see Moose join the stable, but it wasn't meant to be.

“Whenever I think of Ring of Honor, I think of The Briscoes. The Briscoes did come to IMPACT for a bit. They were the IMPACT Tag Champions, but I would have loved if we could have convinced them to join Honor No More. Even a guy that I’ve fought with numerous times over the years, Moose, I would have loved to have Moose come onboard to Honor No More. It just wasn’t in the cards, and in the end, we had who we had, and we did whatever we could do," Edwards said.

Edwards was also asked about a potential feud with PCO, given the way Honor No More Ended. On the November 3 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Edwards buried PCO, and he hasn't been seen since. Edwards noted that he wants to move on, but he admitted that there's no way to know what could happen down the road.

“I haven’t seen him. Where’s he at? Sure, his hand pokes up, but now what? He’s been quiet, hasn’t he? He’s been gone. At this point, I want to bury that part. I need to bury PCO, I need to bury Honor No More, I need to bury this past year and move forward. I just want to look towards the future. That’s what I’m focused on now. So PCO, hopefully he was just tired and stretched his hand out, and he’s gonna stay in that little hole pit that I put him in. But who knows what’s gonna happen down the road? I just want to think about the future," Edwards said.

The Briscoes continue to compete for ROH; they defeated FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) in a Double Dog Collar Match to win the ROH World Tag Team Championships for the thirteenth time at ROH Final Battle.

Edwards is set to face Jonathan Gresham at IMPACT Hard To Kill. More information is available here.
