Eddie Edwards On Taking Part In JDC’s Last Match: I’m Prepared To Leave It All Out There

Eddie Edwards is putting his all into JDC’s final match.
TNA Genesis will be an emotional event for some fans, as JDC (fka Fandango) will compete in his retirement match. JDC will wrestle Eddie Edwards, his System stablemate.
Speaking with NerdlyUK for a new interview, Edwards talked about not being able to mentally prepare for the match before noting that he’s going to leave it all out there for JDC’s final contest.
“I don’t think I can mentally prepare for it because obviously it’s going to be emotional. I don’t know how I’m going to react in the moment. I’m trying to prepare going in, like you know, we’ll just get through the match but there’s going to be emotions going out to that match and standing in the back before we go out. There’s going to be emotions during that match and after that match. But physically and mentally, I’m just trying to get in the right state of mind to go out there and — being a professional wrestler, you go out there and you lay it all on the line each and everytime and that’s what we want to do. We all want to do the best we can but especially in this situation, I’ve been chosen to be the guy so I am physically and mentally prepared to just leave it all out there. Whatever we need to do, whatever we want to do, whatever he wants to do, I’m the guy. I feel like I’m chosen for a reason. So, whatever you want to do, I’m down for it and let’s make this the best match possible. Whatever the vision is, let’s get it this done and I am the guy to help do that.”
