Edwards is going to team up with Brian Myers to defend the TNA Wrestling Tag Team Championship against Nic Nemeth and his brother Ryan Nemeth at TNA Against All Odds 2024. Speaking about the match during an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Edwards would say that he has been looking forward to testing himself against the former Dolph Ziggler for quite some time and he's glad that they're getting the chance to do so in a tag team environment in a city like Chicago.

“I’ve wanted to test myself against Nic for a long time, and now me and Brian get to do it against Nic and Ryan,” said Edwards. “It’s a fresh matchup for us, Cicero Stadium in Chicago always has a hot crowd, and it’s the start of a new rivalry.”
