The late Eddie Guerrero tops the list of playable characters available as part of the downloaded content for WWE 2K17, which will be released October 11.
Guerrero, the former World Heavyweight Champion in WWE and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, is one of nine characters that has been announced as DLC for the game. The others include the following:
--Karl Anderson
--Luke Gallows
--Austin Aries
--Tye Dillinger
--Papa Shango
--Kerry Von Erich
--Mojo Rawley
--The Godfather
This marks the first appearance in a WWE-released video game for Anderson, Aries, Dillinger, Von Erich and Rawley. The latter, who also was called up to the WWE main roster this summer as part of the brand extension draft, certainly appeared to be excited for his inclusion based on a Twitter post.
Full DLC details have yet to be released by 2K Games, which could mean more downloadable characters could be announced. This list of downloadable characters is in addition to more than 130 announced characters for the game, counting those on the main roster, as well as playable characters from WWE's NXT developmental show and 40 legends.
Goldberg also is available as an exclusive additional character on pre-orders of the game.
WWE 2K17 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and also is playable on PC.
