Eddie Kingston And FTR vs. Blackpool Combat Club Set For 2/28 AEW Dynamite

Eddie Kingston and FTR will team up against common enemies in the Blackpool Combat Club on the final AEW Dynamite before AEW Revolution.

Following the dream match between Jun Akiyama and Bryan Danielson on the February 24 AEW Saturday Collision, tensions escalated quickly after Danielson was on the receiving end of a slap from Akiyama because Danielson showed a sign of disrespect, in the form of the middle finger, to Eddie Kingston, who was watching the match on commentary.

Danielson retaliated to the slap by kicking Akiyama in the groin. This led to Eddie Kingston getting physical with Danielson before Claudio Castagnoli came out to save Bryan and attack Eddie Kingston. FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler then came out to help Kingston. This led to Jon Moxley coming out to get his hands on FTR.

Ultimately, a six-man tag match was made which will see Kingston tag with the former AEW World Tag Team Champions. This match will take place just days before FTR does battle with Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston defends his Continental Crown Championship against Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution 2024.

Here is the current lineup for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite:
