Eddie Kingston Hopes To Train With Ortiz And Homicide In Preparation For In-Ring Return

Eddie Kingston has been out of action for over a year, suffering a leg injury against Gabe Kidd at NJPW STRONG Resurgence on May 11, 2024.

During his rehab, he's been training with Cezar Bononi to help keep his strength and conditioning up.

Appearing on Cezar's YouTube channel, Kingston discussed his plans to get back in the ring.

"Everything is slow at first, it's running the ropes, all that stuff. three-quarter rolls. Then I'll get in there. I would like to get Ortiz and Homicide down to grapple. Ortiz, if they're going to film it, because AEW likes to film everything, I get it. I don't, that's not me and my style. At least get Ortiz back on TV [Laughs]. It's not my show. You're not always going to agree with your job. Once I get to the ring, I'm happy, I'm good," said Kingston.

It is unknown when Kingston will return to the ring or AEW TV.

Fightful continues to wish him the best in his recovery.
