Eddie Kingston Says Jon Moxley And Renee Paquette Visited Him While He Was Out With Injury, ‘We Talked Life’
Eddie Kingston shouts out Jon Moxley.
‘The Mad King’ made his triumphant return to AEW back in September, defeating Big Bill at the All Out pay-per-view. This was Kingston’s first match since May 2024, where he suffered multiple leg-related injuries during a bout with Gabe Kidd.
Speaking with Busted Open Radio for a new interview, Kingston chatted about his friendship with Jon Moxley, saying that he visited him when he down for the count with his injuries.
“When I was out injured, not a lot of people came to see me but Jon did. Jon brought me his wife, his kid. He didn’t have to. It was like eight o’clock at night and I’m like, ‘What are you doing, the baby’s gotta eat. Let the baby eat and go to sleep.’ He’s like, nah, nah, they wanted to see you, blah blah blah. We didn’t talk business, we didn’t talk wrestling. We talked life. That’s my friendship with Moxley.”
