Eddie Kingston Says Wrestling At Budokan Hall Is The Major Goal He Has Left
Eddie Kingston has wrestled all around the world, but he still has one major stop on his bucket list.
Speaking to Gabby LaSpisa on Gabby AF, Kingston was asked if there was anything left for him to accomplish in wrestling.
After saying winning the world championship, he stated, “The big major one for me is Budokan Hall in Japan. Being there one time. I do that, I’m out. A lot of my favorite matches took place in Budokan. When I was in Japan and did Sumo Hall, a lot of great matches there. Korakuen as well. I could feel…it was like going to church. I felt like a higher presence there. I just want to feel Budokan’s higher presence. I also want to go back to Osaka. I love it.”
Kingston hasn’t wrestled in Japan since 2023.
He had the chance to win the AEW World Title at AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming, but lost to Samoa Joe in the main event.
Elsewhere during the interview, Kingston revealed he has six years left on his AEW contract. You can find his full comments here.
