Eddie Orengo Says Bad Bunny Thanked Him After San Juan Street Fight, ‘He Loves It Just Like We Do’

Eddie Orengo praises Bad Bunny.
Orengo had a big task at the Backlash event in 2023, as he officiated the San Juan Street Fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.
Speaking with the I’m An Artist, Not A Salesman podcast for a new interview, Eddie Orengo recalled his interactions with Bad Bunny during that time.
“Incredible. Very humble. He loves it just like we do. Leading up to it, he’s like, ‘I’m gonna need your help out there.’ I’m like, ‘I’ve got you man, this is what we do.’ To be able to pull that off in Puerto Rico, family in the crowd, crowd is going nuts, Carlito’s return. Savio pops up out of nowhere. That was something where like, again, here’s a guy with little experience who is going to need help from everybody around him and I wanna contribute to that. After the match, he thanked me, he was super happy about it. I said, ‘Hey man, this is what we do, we all help each other out.’”
Elsewhere in the interview, Eddie Orengo credited Shawn Bennett for securing him a tryout in WWE. Check out his full story on the matter by clicking here.
