Another match has been made for WWE SummerSlam.
The seven-year feud between Seth Rollins and Edge has intensified in recent months. At Money in the Bank, The Architect cost The Rated R Superstar the Universal Championship, believing that he was meant to be the one challenging Roman Reigns.
After a vicious attack last week at the hands of Rollins, Edge came out and addressed his longtime adversary. Rollins joined via satellite and was challenged to a match at SummerSlam. At first, he said he needed time to consider it, saying Edge should do the same. He spoke about Edge's injuries and suggested Edge consider his health and family before going through with the match. This angered Edge, which led to him saying that Rollins was infatuated with him and calling him Edge-lite.
Not wanting to let Edge change the narrative, Rollins accepted the challenge. As a result, the two men will face off at SummerSlam on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
