That sketch helped eight-year-old Jaxson Dempsey save his sister's life.

Jaxson saw his one-year-old sister, Layla, choking on a chicken nugget and began patting his sister on the back to get the chicken nugget out. Jaxson credited Cena's scene for helping him know what to do.

"It's called The Substitutes on Nickelodeon, and in the very first episode, John Cena was on it, and in the last part, he showed how to save someone when they're choking," Jaxson told WNEP. "I thought she was gonna die, but then the scene came into my mind. I told my dad to pull over and then I started to pat her back.”

Jaxson delivered a message to Cena directly, saying, “Thank you for being on that show. It taught me a lot about how to save someone’s life.”
