The semifinals are set in NJPW Best of Super Juniors 30.
El Desperado and Master Wato have advanced to the semifinals of New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Best of Super Juniors 30 tournament.
Both men won on the final night of B Block action with Desperado defeating Robbie Eagles in the main event and Wato defeating Kevin Knight. Desperado and Wato both finished with a 7-2 record and 14 points. Desperado gained the top seed by defeating Wato in round robin action.
In the semifinals, Wato will face "Speedball" Mike Bailey (7-2, 14 pts), who was the top seed from A Block. Desperado will face Titan (6-3, 12 pts), who finished second in A Block. Those bouts will take place on May 26.
The two winners will meet on May 28 to crown the Best of Super Juniors 30 tournament champion.
