Tonight on SmackDown, Elias made his return.

Appearing on camera in a backstage segment where he appeared to stifle any potential romantic connection between Drake Maverick and Dana Brooke, Elias proceeded to sing a song before the show would return to its Tag Team Championship match.
Elias has been away since September mending an ankle injury that took him out of the King of the Ring tournament in the fall. His last scheduled match was to be a King Of The Ring Tournament semi-final against Chad "Shorty" Gable, but he'd be replaced by Shane McMahon. That was the day the music... was paused.
Last week, Elias sent out this tweet, letting us know change was imminent.
PWInsider reported earlier that both he and Sheamus were backstage tonight. Sheamus also returned, he had a much more serious return. Appearing to call out the entire SmackDown roster in a new vignette,
With his ankle apparently all healed, the question now is who wants to walk with Elias once again?
