Elias is already one of the biggest superstars in the WWE today. But he has bigger plans than just performing on Raw every week.
Speaking to The Gorilla Position, Elias name dropped three future Hall of Famers when asked about what he sees in his future.
"When WrestleMania comes around, I see Elias against The Undertaker. I see Elias against John Cena. Elias against Roman Reigns. I definitely see headlining WrestleMania. I've always got a thing with the Undertaker. He's the deadman. Elias is the living truth. You bring those two together, it's a hell of a story."
The comparisons to The Rock have been unavoidable since Elias started regularly performing on Raw. The Rock boosted his profile in sports entertainment by bringing out a guitar and performing a Rock Concert on Raw, showing off singing and acting chops that has turned him into Hollywood's biggest star.
Elias understands the parallels, but believes the two performers are on different levels.
"I hear all kinds of comparisons of The Rock. Of course he played guitar a few times on Monday Night Raw. If he wants to meet at WrestleMania to walk with Elias, I'm more than welcome to show him how it's done. Here's the thing, he put out a few Rock Concerts. Everybody thinks he's great. He did cover songs. Elias is doing originals every single week. I've got an album out. I've got a documentary out. I'm performing in front of tens of thousands live at every event. The Rock can't do what I do. He's got one of the shows (SmackDown). I've got the whole company."
While Elias might be angling for a fight with four future Hall of Famers, there is one Hall of Famer who he has a good friendship with.
Shawn Michaels currently works at the WWE Performance Center and NXT as a trainer and agent. Elias named Michaels as his favorite wrestler growing up. And now he calls him a friend.
"Before I got called up to Monday Night Raw -- at NXT, I got the opportunity to work with Shawn Michaels for a few months. Just really create a friendship there. He's more than willing talk about the business, talk about life above the business."
Elias ran into another Hall of Famer this past Monday on Raw when Trish Stratus interrupted his performance in Toronto. The meeting didn't end well for Elias as Stratus slapped him following a comment about her age.
