Elias Wants To Face Dexter Lumis In Symphony Of Destruction Match One Day

Elias would like to mix it up with Dexter Lumis at some point down the line in a gimmick match that is becoming synonymous with "The Drifter."

During a recent appearance on WWE Die Woche, Elias was asked about who would like to wrestle on the roster that he has yet to have a match with. Along with the WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, Elias mentioned wanting to have a Symphony of Destruction Match down the line with the eclectic Dexter Lumis.

"GUNTHER is one of them," he said. "Madcap Moss, Austin Theory, there's quite a few at this point. Dexter Lumis, I know he's quite the character but I really think we could have a fun match, especially some sort of Symphony of Destruction Match and things with him. He's carrying around that hatchet. It could be a lot of fun. Yeah, quite a few guys right now I'd like to mix it up with."

Elias has been in a handful of Symphony of Destruction matches. After losing one of them to Jaxson Ryker, he was seen preparing his own gravesite, proclaiming "Elias is dead," on the August 16, 2021 episode of WWE Raw. Months after that, his "brother," Ezekiel debuted.

Ezekiel would later be put on the shelf by Kevin Owens. Elias would say that his brother's career was "tragically" cut short after he returned to WWE.

Elaborating on his desire to face GUNTHER, Elias noted elsewhere in this interview that he hopes to have a major championship match at WrestleMania 39. Read more here.
