Elijah (Elias): Ezekiel Is Still Recovering, He'd Love To Be Back Out There In Front Of The Fans

Elijah provides an update on Ezekiel.

After Elias had been absent for several months, a man named Ezekiel, who was revealed to be the younger brother of Elias, debuted on the April 4, 2022, episode of WWE Raw. They looked quite similar though Ezekiel was clean-shaven, and they fooled everyone by appearing on-screen together. However, Kevin Owens sent Ezekiel to a local medical facility with a vicious attack on the August 8, 2022, episode.

Elias returned in October 2022, and he later stated that Ezekiel was still in a coma in February 2023. WWE released Elias in September 2023. He has since rebranded as Elijah.

Speaking with Jamal Niaz at For The Love of Wrestling (via Monopoly Events), Elijah noted that everybody at the convention wanted to know how Ezekiel was doing. He stated that he was still recovering.

“Everybody wants to know how’s Zeke doing. That’s everybody’s main concern, it seems. For everybody out there, he’s still recovering. We’re still hoping for a solid recovery one of these days. I know in his heart, he’d love to be back out there in front of all the fans that fell in love with Zeke. But in the meantime, he’s on the road to recovery," Elijah said.
