On August 10, WWE announced that Ember Moon was "unable to compete by the NXT Medical Staff" against Sarray on NXT, leading to Dakota Kai taking her place.
The announcement came just hours before NXT went live on USA Network.
Moon tweeted at the time, "This has been an extremely rough month, I am angry and gutted! I was really looking forward to this match and getting back on track but just got another pothole in the road. I'm sorry!"
On Monday, Moon clarified that she is not injured.

The reason for Moon being pulled from the match is unknown.
Moon hasn't wrestled since the July 13 episode of NXT. It is unknown when she will return to the ring.
