Enzo Amore Clarifies Comments Regardng AEW Fights, Says Interview Was Recorded In March 2025

Maven posted an interview with Enzo Amore on Monday, where Enzo recalled some of his infamous backstage moments.

In the interview, where Enzo addressed the rumored fights he had in WWE, those that were reported on and those that weren’t, Enzo took a shot at AEW, saying, “If I fist-fought another guy in the locker room, you probably never heard of it because I probably fucking won, right? I appreciate that. What happens in the WWE locker room, as far as fistfights, never left. Fuck AEW for all the bitch ass fighting that they do over there and letting it leak and shit. It wasn’t that way when I was [in WWE]. We are some bad asses that you got to keep some credibility in that locker room.”

On social media, Enzo clarified that the interview was recorded in March 2025, and questioned why it was released less than a week after AEW paid tribute to PAC when people were still grieving.

“I talked to Maven in March of 2025.

He waited to come off the heels of a beautiful tribute show for PAC to post the interview.

I thought the tribute show was absolute class. Everyone who paid tribute, thank you for honoring Ben.

I’m still grieving, Maven is clearly not.”

Enzo was close friends with PAC, with the two working together during their time in WWE. Maven has yet to address the situation.
