Enzo's return official.
Northeast Wrestling announced that NZO (known as Enzo Amore in WWE) will make his in-ring return this Friday, Aug. 16 against Brian Pillman Jr at their 'Prison Break' event. PWInsider reports that NZO specifically requested to face Pillman Jr. as he was a fan of Pillman Sr's work. 'Prison Break' is set to be headlined Jon Moxley vs. Pentagon Jr and also features appearances by Jerry Lawler, David Arquette, Big Cass, Fenix, Darby Allin and more.
NZO has not officially wrestled since retiring following his WWE release. His last bout took place on Jan. 21, 2018 against Cedric Alexander. In his absence from the ring, he's released a rap album and tried to fight Joey Janela after a Blink-182 concert.
