Eric Bischoff Says He Pushed Chris Jericho Fairly In WCW

83 Weeks host Eric Bischoff recently participated in a Reddit Ask Me Anything Q&A recently. You can see the full Q&A at this link, and highlights below:

Why he didn't push Chris Jericho:

Mone Confronts Nightingale, Strickland Beats Fletcher, Moxley Retains | AEW Fight Size

I did push Chris Jericho. He had more TV time in WCW than at any prior point, so much so that he was able to transition to a very prominent role in WWE. I signed him to be a member of the Cruiserweight division and that was his role. I think it's a naive perception to say that I didn't push him.

Rumors of Hogan controlling WCW:

The stories have been both fabricated and exaggerated. There was only one time that Hogan came close to exercising the full power of his creative control (Hogan/Sting Starrcade) and I felt he was justified in doing so.

His favorite times in wrestling:

The storyline with Stone Cold Steve Austin was about as much fun as I've ever had on camera.

Favorite in-ring performer:

That's a hard one. I loved watching Eddie Guerrero, have always been a big fan of Curt Hennig (even back to the days when he was having amazing matches with Nick Bockwinkel), obviously Ric Flair, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, Steven Regal. It's hard for me to pick one because they all had unique styles and presentations.
